FAQ for Large Parties

1. How long will my large party booking be?
For groups of 9-25 guests, the table is reserved for 3 hours.

2. Can I extend my booking?
We can’t extend the booking times, however, we assure that three hours is a suitable time frame for large parties bookings.

3. Do I need to pay a deposit to secure the booking?
Yes, a deposit is required within 24 hours of making your reservation. We request a £20 per person deposit, which will be deducted from your final bill on the night. You have up to 7 days to cancel or modify your booking; after this period, the deposit becomes non-refundable. Any no-shows on the day of the booking will incur a charge of £50 per person, which will be deducted from your deposit.

4. Can I receive a refund for the deposit instead of having it deducted from the bill?
Yes, if you prefer a refund, please let us know, and we will process the refund after your booking.

5. What time do you close?
Our kitchen closes at 10:00pm (9:00pm on Sundays). We are licensed to serve until 11:30pm, and all guests must vacate the premises by midnight.

6. Do you provide decorations, or can I decorate the table myself?
We do not provide in-house decorations, but you are welcome to bring small table decorations. Please note, depending on availability, we may not be able to accommodate decoration setup prior to the start of your booking if the area is still occupied by other guests.

7. Can I split the bill for my large party?
Unfortunately, we are unable to split the bill for large parties.

8. Can I order à la carte instead?
For large bookings, we offer set menus only (£75/£85/£95). Due to the structure of our kitchen operations, à la carte ordering is not available for large groups. However, we are happy to discuss any menu preferences or requests and will do our best to accommodate them.




FAQ for Private Hires

1. How long will my private hire booking last?
Lunch private hires (Monday-Friday) are available from 12:00pm to 4:30pm. Dinner private hires (Monday & Tuesday) are available from 5:30pm to 11:00pm.

2. What is included in the minimum spend?
The minimum spend covers food and beverages only. Any additional services or items will incur an extra charge.

3. Can my lunch private hire be extended?
We may be able to extend lunch bookings on Mondays and Tuesdays, subject to availability. Unfortunately, we cannot extend the booking time on other days due to our dinner service beginning at 5:00pm.

4. Can the opening hours be extended for my dinner party?
Yes, we can apply for a late license with the council. If approved, the venue can remain open until 1:00 AM.

5. Is there a fee for extending the opening hours?
Yes, there is a fee of £XX for the late license.

6. Do you provide a DJ?
We work with a selection of DJs and can arrange this for you for an additional fee of £100 per hour for the DJ, and £570 (inclusive of 20% VAT) for the PA system.

7. Can I bring my own DJ?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own DJ. In this case, the only additional charge will be for the PA system. You are also welcome to bring your own PA system and install it.

8. Can we move furniture for our event?
Any changes to the layout or setup must be agreed upon in advance. If you require any additional information about the layout, please let us know.

9. Are decorations provided, or can I bring my own?
We do not provide decorations, but you are welcome to bring your own table decorations. Alternatively, we can source decorations for you for an additional charge.

10. Do you print menus? Can we include our business logo on the printed menu?
We typically write menus on a blackboard daily, but we can arrange printed menus for an additional charge. If you provide your logo, we can include it on the printed menus. Alternatively, we can send you our logo, and you can have the menu printed yourself.

11. Can we customise the blackboards?
Yes, you are welcome to customise the blackboards to suit your event.

12. Can I pay after the event?
Payment for private hires must be made prior to the event (via invoice) or on the day of the event (by card). Please note, we are unable to split payments.
